REFINED SUGAR FREE: sometimes baked goods need refined sugar to be the best they can be. We will accept your recipe as long as your recipe has the option to be refined sugar free.
ADDITIVE such as but not limited too: carrageenan, xanthan gum, artificial coloring, artificial sweeteners.
WE DO NOT POST DUPLICATES: our goal is to have each and every recipe on HKH be unique and different. If you see a recipe on HKH that closely resembles one you want to submit just know we most likely won’t publish it.
Highkey Healthy is a highly curated recipe database. To get published your recipe needs to be unique, your own original content and most importantly delicious!
We strive to share only the best of the best “FREE FROM” recipes from brilliant creators like yourself!
We manually review every submission submission and curate what gets published. To understand our publishing process and what gets published see our guidelines below.
WHO CAN SUBMIT?
By submitting you are stating that you are the owner or have permission from the owner to submit this recipe. See our TERMS for copyright rules.
- INGREDIENT CRITERIA
All recipes must meet the ingredient criteria: gluten free, dairy free, egg, free, soy free, additive free, and refined sugar free. Exceptions may be made. We allow the occasional exception for recipes that can be altered to meet our criteria. For example, our most difficult criteria is refined sugar free, if your recipe is made with cane sugar (or some other refined sugar) but can be made refined sugar free then your recipe most likely will be accepted. If you are unsure if your recipe meets our ingredient criteria leave us a note in your submission with your argument as to why it can fit our criteria.
- HIGH QUALITY IMAGES
Images should be well-lit, accurately colored, have good contrast, and of course, be in focus.
The subject of the recipe should be obvious.
Images of ingredients or the recipe making process is encouraged but cannot be the main featured image.
Image width must be larger than 1000 pixels wide in order to not be blurry or pixelated.
We reserve the right to alter (brighten, crop, flip, etc) your images to fit our website.
No text or graphical elements may be added to the image. This includes borders, text, and watermarks.
The link is especially important because this is how we review your recipe, and where we get the information to be able to publish to Highkey Healthy.
The link must go to the specific blog post, NOT the site’s homepage. If the link doesn’t lead to a recipe your submission will be discarded.
Please specify how much of your recipe we can publish. 1. Show entire recipe, including instructions 2. Only show ingredients, link the rest to your blog.
- LOGO OR PROFILE PICTURE
We display the image of your choosing in the Author section of each recipe post. This image can either be your brand logo or an image of yourself.
After you make a submission please be patient while we moderate and publish. We will review the ingredients and the instructions of your receipe and we look over reviews and comments via your website (if applicable).
WHAT WE WILL NOT PUBLISHED
No Spam: we pass over submissions that look even remotely like spam. This includes captions that sound like advertising, marketing or sales pitch i.e. “Click here”, “Learn How To”.
Original content: in order to protect copyright laws if we have any doubt that you (the submitter) are not the original owner of the content then your submission will be discarded.
Duplication: if your submission closely resembles a recipe we already have published we will not publish your new submission.
If you do not see your submitted recipe published please do not re-submit. Your submission is either 1: Still in the reviewing process, or 2: Did not meet our requirements.
As of now we do not have the time to contact you if your submission was rejected. If you do want to know the specific reason please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
